It's Christmas Eve...

Today was absolutely jam packed full of happenings. First, we decorated our cookies for Santa. Anna really only got one (and a half eaten one at that) to the finished pile. The rest were gone before we got the icing bag put down! Uncle Dan made it here just in time for church and we all went to Great Grandmother's for dinner. Anna's job was to fill the cups with ice. Bubba (and me too for that matter) was a little gloomy after church. It really made us miss Dad. For the past ten years, he's sat next to me in the Christmas Eve service. We all miss you terribly. But, with such an important visitor coming tonight, we had to go on. We scattered the the reindeer food and set out Santa's cookies. Merry Christmas!

Day 4 and Eskimo Joe's!

Still the best fried mushrooms around! We had lunch with the Hladiks in Stillwater today. Noah had two OU hats in the car, can you believe it? A stones throw from T. Boone Pickens Stadium!! It was great to see Great-Grandmother and all the Earnhearts-thanks again for lunch, Edmond...and Troy for the up close tour of the farm. Anna LOVED the cows! Oh, and after our day trip, we all let loose back at our other Great-Grandmother's house!

Day 3

The highlight today was definitely the lights! After dinner (Jumbo's Chicken Fried Steak! Yum!) we all, and I do mean all, loaded up to see the lights. Anticipation soon turned to excitement then, the youngest among us made a sharp turn into tantrum! We persevered and ended the night with carols...and Anna soon after, tucked into bed.

Day 2

After church, we made up our own list and stocked the kitchen with plenty of goodies. Anna loves to ride in the biggest and hardest to maneuver cart. Lucky for her she's the second, Noah never knew such pleasures! Oh, and plenty of love passed between cousins today! I wouldn't call them kissin' cousins just yet, as Anna doesn't trust him around her dolly stroller! And as for Noah, he's been glued to the Wii, except for the 20 minutes we braved the cold to toss the pigskin in the backyard. Yikes, it's super cold here.

Blogging All the Way!

So, I know Dad is sure sorry to have missed out on the marathon road trip...but I promise to keep you all up to date on all the Christmas cheer! The crew so far consists of Great-Grandmother, Grandmother, Aunt Cha Cha, Cousin Liam, and the Hladiks. Uncle Dan is coming up later in the week!

Day 1

On the road again...and again...and again... (Repeat after Christmas!)

Now, don't blame the cameraman for the quality of this footage. Miss Anna was having a great time opening and closing the sanctuary door. It made a wonderful whooshing sound followed by a thump. I am a one armed paper hanger... Noah is on the left wearing a red tie!

Anna had Grandmother set her up for story time in the comfy chair. It was quite a process to get everything just so! Thanks for the TLC!

It was indeed a Happy Thanksgiving, Grandmother came to visit us! It's always all smiles when she's around.
