Grace is 1!

Happy Birthday, Grace! She had a Polka Party with dancing (Chicken Dance), Pin the Polka Dot on the Purse and Pass the Polka Dot (Hot Potato for babies)! Besides Grace, Granny Sue was the guest of honor. We all loved having some Grandmother time.

Sunday Sightseeing

Todd's mom came to visit and celebrate Grace's birthday. While she was here, we took advantage of her Granny-hood. We went ice skating and she and Grace enjoyed some time in the cafe together. It was great having her out and I really treasured the time to get to do something out of the ordinary. Thanks, Granny.
If you're ever in DC...the National Art Gallery is fabulous (and free) then there is ice skating (not free, but cheap) in the Sculpture Garden.

Winter Wonderland!

Wow! Can you believe this! We've had snow!!! It's a first for Anna and Grace and maybe a third for Noah. School was canceled, the sled was dug out and we all enjoyed snow ice cream for dessert. Anna said it best, "Thank you, Jesus, for snow!" So far, this is the only real snow we've had, but we are excitedly hoping for more.
