Hladik Baby #3

We now have photo documentation of baby #3! And an answered prayer...Todd prayed for a (singular) healthy baby! My OB actually served with Todd during his last deployment to Iraq, so there were some war stories during my ultrasound. I still can't figure out what an OB/GYN was doing in combat! I wonder what it's like to have a civilian baby? I bet it's more expensive than what the Navy charges!!!

My mom is finishing her time at MD Anderson and should be returning home soon. My sister has taken great care of her and will be driving her home and getting her set up. The kids and I were able to visit mom before her surgery in June. We had a great time with our cousin Liam and "Monkey" Maggie (My sister has a pug, which Anna thought was a monkey and not a dog!)

Welcome to our FL home!

We are all moved in and wish you all could come visit! It is rather warm here, but at least there is an occasional breeze. And no sand gnats!!!

Maui Wowie Hawaiian Luau

Sorry you missed this, Todd. Our Super Duper Maui Wowie Hawaiin Luau was one heck of a party! We had grass skirts, leis, coconut cups with Kapuha punch, even authentic Hawaiian music! Don't worry, we saved you some punch.

Welcome Home, Dad!

Here are the first pictures of our reunion. They don't do justice to the size of the smiles on all our faces!

Arrghh Matey...Off to the tub with ye'

It's bath night, so of coarse we had delays. Anna decided to try on her beautiful princess outfit...except Bubba had other opinions. He asked, "Mom, why is Anna dressed like a pirate?"

It's all downhill from here!!!

I think, God willing, we are on the downside of this deployment! I can almost see us together again. Almost.

Onward Christian Soldiers!

There are really no words to describe the trip home, but that it is finished! We stopped in Franklin, TN to see the Carter House Museum. I would highly recommend anyone going through middle TN to stop. And, with the perspective of the sacrifices made by many other military wives gone before me, I loaded up the kids and continued on...and on...and on...

Christmas Morning

Here is Noah with his early favorites...NCAA football has been on constantly from this moment on! And Anna is on the phone with Daddy. She doesn't have much to say, but she loves to hear Daddy's voice. She wonders off for privacy, of coarse, and smiles and sticks out her tongue when Daddy says something sweet! We love you, Pops!
